August 15th, 2007--The Prism: New Serbian Cinema Film Festival in Pittsburgh, PA After three years success in Washington D.C., The Prism, New Serbian Cinema Film Festival is coming to Pittsburgh on Sept. 7th, 8th, and 9th at the South Side Works Cinema. On Friday, Sept 7th, the cocktail party starts at 6:30 PM. The feature presentation Where Yellow Lemon Blooms, a movie about crossing the Albanian mountains in WWI, starts at 7:30 PM. After the movie, the party continues at the American Serbian Club on Sarah Street. On Saturday, Sept 8th, the festival will feature two good dramas: The Party/Zurka is at 3:00 PM, and The Cordon's American premier is at 5:30 PM. The Cordon won the first prize at the Montreal Film Festival a couple of years ago. On Sunday, Sept. 9th at 3:00 PM, the festival features Frozen Stiff, a super-funny comedy Serbian-style. For the festival closing at 5:30 PM, the festival will either feature Seven and a Half, a movie about seven deadly sins that won many awards in Serbia in 2006, or My Brother's Son, a movie about three generations of Serbian men meeting in-between-worlds, based on an exceptional theatrical play by Sinisha Kovacevic.
